The first tip for trying to maintain good posture throughout the day is to be aware. Have awareness of your posture. Constantly think about it. That is a hard thing to do, but we have to become aware.
While walking, turn your thumbs out and bring your shoulder blades together by pinching them together. Stand up straight and look straight ahead. Kids can do this. Adults can do this. It is just a minor adjustment, but it will really help to correct the posture.
Also, sit up straight. If we are sitting for long periods of times, set a silent or vibration phone alarm to go off so that you can force yourself to check your posture. “There it went off…am I sitting up straight?” If not, sit up straight, and train yourself to have a positive habit of sitting up straight.
So those are some of the best tips that everyone can accomplish.
